Refrigerator Not Cooling But Freezer Works

  2. Check the vents between the freezer and fridge compartments aren't blocked by food packages pressed up against them
  3. Do a manual defrost: unplug the fridge, leave both doors open for several hours, then restart
  4. Check the door seals on the fridge side for gaps

How much does a service call cost?

The diagnostic visit is $89. If you approve the repair, that amount comes off the final bill. You'll see the full quote before any work starts.

Can you really come the same day?

Most days, yes. Calls that come in before noon on weekdays are usually seen the same afternoon. For emergencies like a leaking appliance or a down commercial cooler, call and we'll move you up.

Is it worth repairing, or should I replace it?

We'll tell you straight. As a rule, if the repair costs more than half the price of a comparable new unit and the appliance is over 10 years old, replacing usually makes more sense. High-end built-ins are almost always worth repairing.

What does the warranty cover?

Our labor is guaranteed for 90 days: if the same problem comes back in that window, we come back at no charge. Parts we install carry a 1-year warranty against failures not caused by the customer.

Do you work on commercial equipment?

Yes. We service restaurants, laundromats, offices and apartment buildings, including walk-in coolers, ice machines, commercial ranges and laundry equipment.
