Before you call

Check these first.

Steps the manufacturers themselves tell owners to try. If something looks unsafe, stop and call us.

Read the full guide

Washer Won't Drain

  1. Check the drain hose behind the washer for kinks
  2. If your model has an accessible pump filter, open it carefully over a towel
  3. Listen during the drain cycle: a humming pump with no water moving suggests a clog downstream
  4. Check you haven't overloaded the washer

Call a technician if the hose and filter are both clear and the pump either makes no sound or runs constantly without draining

For businesses

Laundromats, apartment buildings and hotels. A down machine means lost revenue by the hour, so we prioritize commercial calls.

  • Coin and card laundry equipment
  • Multi-unit and HOA laundry rooms
  • Maintenance plans and invoicing for accounts

Repair or replace?

Washers typically last 10 to 14 years with normal use. A repair is usually worth it if the machine is under about 8 years old and the fix doesn't involve the main electronic control board or a cracked tub — those repairs can approach the cost of a new mid-range washer.

Maintenance tips

  • Leave the door or lid cracked open between loads on front-load washers to prevent mildew and odor.
  • Run a monthly hot-water cycle with washer cleaner to clear detergent buildup, especially with HE detergent.
  • Check supply hoses yearly for bulges or cracks — a burst hose is one of the most common sources of water damage claims.
  • Don't overload the drum; it's the single biggest cause of balance and bearing problems.

A local note

Hard water across most of LA and Orange County speeds up mineral buildup in washer inlet screens and valves — if your washer is filling slowly, a clogged inlet screen is often the first thing worth checking before assuming the valve itself has failed.

FAQ

Questions people ask before booking.

Still unsure? Call or text and we'll tell you straight.

(424) 296-8985

How much does a washer service call cost?

The diagnostic visit is $89. If you approve the repair, that amount comes off the final bill. You'll see the full quote before any work starts.

Can you really come the same day?

Most days, yes. Calls that come in before noon on weekdays are usually seen the same afternoon. A pile of laundry can't wait, so tell us it's a washer and we'll move you up.

Is it worth repairing my washer, or should I replace it?

We'll tell you straight. As a rule, if the repair costs more than half the price of a comparable new unit and the washer is over 10 years old, replacing usually makes more sense. Front-load and stackable units are often worth repairing.

What does the warranty cover?

Our labor is guaranteed for 90 days: if the same problem comes back in that window, we come back at no charge. Parts we install carry a 1-year warranty against failures not caused by the customer.

Do you repair stackable and commercial laundry equipment?

Yes. We service front-load stackables plus coin and card laundry equipment for laundromats and apartment buildings.

¿Hablan español?

Sí. Llámenos o envíenos un mensaje de texto y le atenderemos en español.

My washer shows an error code — do I need to look it up myself?

You can, and it can help the technician prepare, but codes vary by model year even within the same brand. See our Samsung, LG and Whirlpool washer error code pages for a starting point, then tell us the code and your model number when you call.

Do you fix stacked and all-in-one washer/dryer units?

Yes, including stacked laundry centers common in LA apartments and condos — space is tighter, but the repair process is the same.
